While you anxiously await the updates to last week’s posts (sorry about the delay), here is something interesting to ponder. ¬†(I hope to have everything updated by the end of the weekend!!)

Here’s a short film from 1967 starring none other than the Goblin King himself, David Bowie, in his first acting role, playing “the boy”.

Directed by Michael Armstrong

Also starring Michael Byrne as “the man”.

Animation can be incredibly creepy. ¬†Especially when it’s surrealistic, or stop-motion animation.

Here’s a really creepy video of a short animated film from 1953, adapted from the Edgar Allan Poe story of the same name.

Directed by Ted Parmalee

Narrated by James Mason

Selected for preservation in the National Film Registry in 2001.

Fun Fact: This was the first cartoon to be rated X!!
